The University of Florida College of Pharmacy, a nationally ranked top ten program, expanded its program with the addition of three new campuses in August of 2002. Orlando, St. Petersburg and Jacksonville admitted over 140 new students in the fall of 2002. The Jacksonville campus, located just minutes away from downtown, is distinguished in the fact that we are located at a major medical and academic center, Shands Medical Center. Access to over 4,000 medical professionals and staff, a UF medical library, updated labs, teaching classrooms, and auditoriums are some of the many benefits of the Jacksonville program.
The Jacksonville campus admits 50 new students each year to begin their professional education to become a licensed pharmacist. The four-year doctoral degree (Pharm. D.) can be completed entirely in Jacksonville. Our dedicated and professional staff and faculty work personally with the students to assist them in reaching their professional and academic goals. We hope to see you on our campus soon.
