Senior Secretary:  Beverly Mayo

Beverly Mayo started at the University of Florida in August 2002.  She was raised in Miami, Florida and graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and Organization.  Beverly is responsible for maintaining student/office files, organizing student groups and shadowing experiences, arranging for classrooms and responding to correspondence.  She also keeps budgetary records/processes reimbursement expenditures and coordinates student use of medical equipment.

Student Affairs Coordinator:  Tom Robertson

As the Coordinator for Student Affairs at the Jacksonville campus, Tom works with all areas that impact the students outside the classroom.  Some of these include; student clubs and organizations, registration and financial aid issues, recruitment, special programs and events, counseling and advising, and student activities.  Tom brings to the program over 18 years of administrative experience in student affairs at both the university and college levels.  His background includes career services, orientation and retention programs, residence life, academic advising, leadership development and teaching in higher education in Michigan, Mississippi, and Florida.  After earning his B.S. in Education from Central Michigan University, and an MA in Adult and Continuing Education from Michigan State University, he is working on the completion of a dissertation for a Ph. D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Mississippi.

Director:  Dr. Carol Motycka

Dr. Motycka became a faculty member in July 2002 to help start the University of Florida College of Pharmacy program in Jacksonville.  Dr. Motycka graduated from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy with her Pharm.D. in 1998.  She then completed a residency in Ambulatory Care at Florida Hospital in Orlando.  Following the residency, Dr. Motycka was hired as the Pharmaceutical Care Coordinator for Florida Hospital DeLand.  She helped develop an asthma and anticoagulation clinic for patients and an Ambulatory Care Rotation for pharmacy students during her three years at the hospital.  Aside from educating students through her rotation, Dr. Motycka educated pharmacy and medical staff as well as patients through educational seminars and in-services.  Dr. Motycka also served as a faculty member for NOVA Southeastern University College of Pharmacy and Seminole Community College in the College of Allied Health from 1999-2002.  As the new Director for the Jacksonville Campus, Dr. Motycka is excited to be a part of this innovative program with the University which she graduated from and holds dear to her heart.
